01:00 am - Texas Aggie Texas Aggie Robert Earl Keen Well it's 7:45 on Friday morning, He just crawled outta bed. He stayed too long at the Chicken again And he's got an achin' head. He's got an 8-o'clock at Heldenfels His prof speaks Japanese. Went broke on beer and Mr. Bills Now he lives on bread and cheese. He's a fightin' Texas Aggie and he just don't give a damn That he's got 3 parking tickets And he's on sco-pro again But the bonfire's built And Varsity's horns have been sawed right off his head, He's a fightin' Texas Aggie And he will be 'til he's dead. Well it's Wednesday morning at Gollie Rollie His sports pass in his hand He's been waitin' three days in the blazin' sun Just to be with his twelfth man But after fumbles and interceptions He takes his girlfriend's hand But the game don't mean a thing to her She's just there to see the band He's a fightin' Texas Aggie and he just don't give a damn That he's got 6 parking tickets And he's on sco-pro again But the bonfire's built And Varsity's horns have been sawed right off his head, He's a fightin' Texas Aggie And he will be 'til he's dead. Well he goes down to the Dixie Chicken He's dunking his ring tonight He's there at 6:30, He thought it'd be early But there ain't a table in sight So he buys his pitcher anyway And he drops his ring on in Singing, "the road goes on forever And the party never ends"! He's a fightin' Texas Aggie and he just don't give a damn That he's got 9 parking tickets And he's on sco-pro again But the bonfire's built And Varsity's horns have been sawed right off his head, He's a fightin' Texas Aggie And he will be 'til he's dead. Well it's one-o'clock And "Goodnight Irene" is blarin' through the place He parked about 50 blocks away So he ain't got time to waste When he finally makes it to his car He stands up on his feet He says, "Boy's lets head to Taco Cabana, I think I need somethin' to eat." He's a fightin' Texas Aggie and he just don't give a damn That he's got 12 parking tickets And he's on sco-pro again But the bonfire's built And Varsity's horns have been sawed right off his head, He's a fightin' Texas Aggie And he will be 'til he's dead. Well he picks up a "Battalion" Just to see what's going on But all he finds to read about Is what we're doin' wrong "This school's too damn conservative!" I guess they want us to be Like all the hippies down in Austin Wearin' orange and sippin' tea. He's a fightin' Texas Aggie and he just don't give a damn That he's got 12 parking tickets And he's on sco-pro again But the bonfire's built And Varsity's horns have been sawed right off his head, He's a fightin' Texas Aggie And he will be...'til he's dead. 05:33 pm - Ok so I'm procrastinating I'm only going to procrastinate for a minute because I'm so very far behind. I made an 89 on my marriage and family test. Blah.. :( I went to a Psychology Club BBQ Sunday. They had Bocca (I don't know how to spell it) burgers that were pretty good. They've got other people in the club that are vegetarian too. :) Only about seven people came and no professors came. It was supposed to be a BBQ with Psychology Professors. I had a good time visiting with the people that did come though. Ok, you've been updated and I've procrastinated enough. Louise Current Mood: busy

05:06 pm - Survey 20 "Deep" Questions That Could Really Tell You Something. [Not simple questions like "How Old Are You?"] 1. Is it difficult for you to look into someone's eyes when you are talking to them? -It depends. I'm shy.. So if I don't know you well or if I'm crying or telling you something that might embarass me then yes. 2. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You get enough time to make ONE phone call? -My house to tell my Mom, Dad and Emy I love them. I'd tell someone there to tell all the ones I love that I love them. 3. You have to choose between your significant other and your best friend, who do you choose? -My best friend is amazing. She wouldn't make me make that choice. If my boyfriend tried he'd be gone. Ya don't mess with my Kay and any guy I date will know that. 4.You are at the doctor's office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live.what would you do? -Spend time with family and friends.. Wouldn't most people? 5. You can have one of the following two things: trust or love? Um.. We learned in Marriage and Family that you need trust to have intimacy/love. Not that I needed a class for that.. but you can't have love without trust. 6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late one more time you get fired. What do you do? -Save the dog then try to hurry to work. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself for letting the dog die. 7. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? -Europe. 8. Think of the last person who you really knew that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give one year of your life. Would you do it? -Yes. 9. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend? -I like to think I am. 10. Does love = sex? -Nope. Not by a longshot.. 11. One of your best friends dies, what would you do? - I can't fathom how much it would hurt. I'd pray a lot and try to help her/his family through it. 12. When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt? -Thursday night. 13. What would be harder for you, to tell someone you love them or that you hate them? -It's so much harder to tell someone you love them. If you really mean it, it makes you vulnerable. 14. What do you think would be the worst thing for you to give up on? -Love..and hope. 15. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you love them? -Last night: my dad! 16. If you had to go back in time and change one thing, what would it be? - If I HAD to.. well I'd undue someone's death. If you mean personally.. I wish things hadn't happened the way they did as far as some things go.. I won't make the mistake again. It's done. :) 17. Imagine. It is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear a noise. What do you do? -I'd panic and probably call my mom or Emy or Kay.. but I don't stay home alone at night. 18. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? -uhh.. i dont know CPR... I'd try to find someone who did though.. 19. Are you old-fashioned? -In some ways I guess... 20. 12:00 pm - my highly reasonable conclusion and other stuff I've been having stomache issues every time I eat for about 3 days now. So, I've reached a highly reasonable conclusion: I won't eat. Unfortunately my parents have vetoed this highly reasonable conclusion so I am eating once or twice a day. I was supposed to go to Kay's house yesterday but JM was sick and feverish. I hope he feels better soon. So, instead of doing that I went with my sister and bought two meat eating plants. (Yes, I know the vegetarian bought meat eating plants. Well, when you know me long at all you learn there's not too much of a pattern to my thoughts.) Dad and I went and picked up Travis then we went and got "Evan Almighty" and "Me, Myself and Irene" we came back here and Dad cooked me some stir-fry and him and Travis Speghetti. We watched "Evan Almighty" (cute movie) but I was starting to fall asleep during the movie. So, we finished watching it and then brought Travis home. He might come back today to watch "Me, Myself and Irene". Becca sent me a comment on Myspace. That made me happy. Gah, I miss her. I guess that's about it. I hope everyone has a great day. 01:58 pm - Yay! *Dance* The e-mail from my Social Psychology teacher: Louise, You did an *excellent* job on the exam. You scored a 98 out of 100. We in the grade-giving business call that an A. Nice work! I'm very sorry your grade posting was delayed. I had a miscommunication with the grader that then got passed through the "system" and so your exam got stuck in a file drawer until I figured out the error. I've straightened this out for the next exam, and so I should post your grade the same time as other students. Again, I'm sorry for the delay. Hart. Yay! Oh that's exciting! 10:08 pm - Do you need more proof that I'm nuts? Nika just left me a message on Facebook she was sad because she couldn't remember any camp songs.. Off of the top of my head I think I listed pretty close to almost every single song/cheer we ever did.. 2 and a half years later.. The scary part is I could probably still sing most of them.. Then I woke back up less tired but still feeling icky and with worse tummy problems than I've had in a while. My prof said I'd have my grade by this afternoon..I don't have it.. 03:35 pm - *blush* I'm an idiot. So, I e-mailed my teacher last week about my exam grade not showing up on WebCT. I've been thinking "Okay.. why isn't he e-mailing me back? This is not cool.." It hit me today "Oh yeah! Didn't he say I had to use Psych 315 as my subject line?" Checked the syllabus..sure enough.. Duh Louise. 11:40 am - That's the way That's the way to wake up in the morning.. Two years later and those conversations still make me smile. I'm fixing to get to work because I've got so much to do. There was a crawfish boil last night... just Emy and Justin's friends. I want Sandra and Derek's EP grr.. I'm probably gonna take money out of the hiding spot and put it in the bank account just to get it.. Although, I don't know I like hearing it the way I heard it this morning.
